Registration and Security
Before the Service: Every Sunday, please sign in your child using the two-part name tags on the children's check-in table inside the entrance downstairs. You will place the section with your child's information on their back and keep the small section of the tag with the corresponding number. Your child's teach will then be able to match you to your child until they get to know you. Please use the additional neon tags to alert special things such as:
Allergies - If your child is allergic to any foods, please put an orange alert sticker on their nametag noting the specific allergy.
This Item Belongs To - If your child is unable to separate from a special toy, please place the white tag with the child's name onto the toy. We cannot be responsible for lost toys however.
Potty Training - If your child is potty training, please put a yellow sticker on their nametag. Also, after the children's chat, please escort your child-in-training to the bathroom on the way to class to help assure no accidents happen.
During the Service: Your child will remain with you for the beginning of the service. The pastor will invite "the important people" to come forward for a special children's chat. After that time, the children depart to their age appropriate classes*. We don't require children attend Hope For Kids and it is perfectly fine with us if your child wishes to remain with you. In fact, at the children's check-in desk we have activity notebooks available should you want them.
*If it is your child's first time to their class, please escort them to their class.
For your child's safety, Hope Church adheres to a two-adult policy. During the children's ministry program, your child will be with at least two adults at all times. Additionally, Hope for Kids teachers and directors have agreed to be screened with a background check prior to being involved in this ministry team.
